'Those who have no record of what their forebears have accomplished, lose the inspiration which comes from the teaching of biography and history' - Dr Carter Woodson

We believe that celebrating excellence in the past can inspire excellence in the future. In an age where the contributions of black people to world civilisation are often ignored or denied, we think black history month is an important opportunity to showcase some of the incredible things that African and Caribbean people have achieved.

As part of Black History Month this year, we will be highlighting the achievements of black British businesses/ professionals and we are working with some of the UK's top universities to spread our message. We will be speaking about starting a Black owned business, the history of African hair and colonialism and caring for Black hair at some of the UK's best universities.

These events are affordable and great if you are looking for some enterprising inspiration or you are just interested in Black hair and culture.

Join us this Black History Month!
