  • Mini Swirl (60ml) silicone-free conditioner. Made with Avocado Oil to provide the ultimate slip for quick and easy detangling.  
  • Mini Sheen (60ml) moisturising spray. Infused with Aloe Vera and Grapeseed oil to moisturise and revive curly and afro hair without leaving buildup. Great for moisturising braids.
  • Mini Smooth (60ml) moisturising hair cream enriched with fair-trade Shea Butter and Coconut Oil to soften and revitalise dry hair. 
  • Mini Seal (30ml) natural hair oil.  Expertly blended with Jojoba Oil and Castor Oil to lock moisture into the hair and prevent breakage. 
  • Mini Soothe (50ml) scalp oil. A lightweight blend of oils including Lavender and Sweet Almond Oil to promote healthy hair growth and relieve itchy scalps.

Great!

I love Afrocenchix products all the way and the travel minis did not disappoint, not to mention the service. Had trouble ordering with the bag and applying the discount but note you guys sent the bags regardless. Love you guys!

Love these products

Bought these for my daughter so we could try the full range of products before we invested in the larger ones. We loved them and have reordered the full sized bottles. They moisturise well without being too greasy, and have really helped with dandruff which I think had been aggravated by the product we were using before.

the travel set

ok, but not for me. not too keen on the smell which made feel nauseous and it dried out my hair. I was really looking forward to using something different that I could use long term, but unfortunately it wasn't for me.

I think somehow the travel kit dried out my hair

Sadly I used your products for a week and today I’ve just spent an hour finger combing out nots from my hair. Unsure what happened, this hasn’t happened when I’ve used other products to this degree.

What distinguishes Afrocenchix formulas from other natural hair care product brands?

Our formulations are made with at least 95% naturally derived vegan ingredients which are scientifically proven to deliver great results for curly hair.
We use organic ingredients and all Afrocenchix products are free of sulphates, silicones, alcohols, parabens, artificial fragrances and colours.

I have very dry hair, what should I do?

Dryness is the bane of afro hair. Dry hair breaks easily and as afro hair is susceptible to dryness, it is also prone to breakage. Protecting you

Our favourite remedy for this is the LOC and LCO methods. The acronym indicates the order by which the products (L = liquid O = oil and C = cream) should be applied to your hair. Using this method (with our Moisture Surge Set) after you’ve washed your hair will help you lock in moisture and fix dry hair.

I have just started my natural hair journey, what should I do?

Try our Newly Natural Set with Swish, Swirl and Smooth. This set has the key products you need to get started on your journey, a sulphate free shampoo, silicone free conditioner and a moisturiser/leave-in conditioner. To keep your hair moisturised I'd recommend using The Moisture Surge Set and following the LOC or LCO methods which you can read more about here. The Moisture Surge Set consists of Sheen (moisturising spray), Seal (hair oil) and Smooth (moisturising hair cream).
