Avocado - supplies vitamins C, E, K, and B-6, as well as riboflavin, niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium and potassium. They also provide lutein, beta-carotene and omega-3 fatty acids.
Coconut milk - contains fibre, vitamins C, calcium, iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorous as well as being a source of protein.
Spinach - supplies iron, beta carotene, folate and zinc.
Cacao - a great source of protein, calcium, carotene, thiamin, riboflavin, magnesium, sulfur, flavonoids, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids. A good excuse to have chocolate every day!
Bananas - rich in potassium, iron, B Vitamins including B6 and B12.

- 2 bananas
- Half an avocado
- 200ml organic coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon raw oats
- 2 tablespoons cold milled ground flaxseed
- 3 tablespoons pure almond butter
- 4 tablespoons raw cacao powder
- a handful of spinach
- a sprinkle of nutmeg
- optional: a few spoons of 100% pure maple syrup to taste
- Peel the bananas and avocado and chop into chunks for easy blending
- Add the ingredients to the blender and pour over the coconut milk (and maple syrup if you like it sweet).
- Blend it up!
