Do you have a hacker mindset? Do you love a challenge? Are you obsessed with solving problems and do you fix things whilst others are still deciding whether or not they are broken? This may be your dream role at an award-winning company.
At Afrocenchix, we’re going through an exciting period of growth and we need you to help deliver an excellent website experience to our customers and community. We need a business minded developer with multiple skill sets to help make our products accessible to every person in the world with kinks, curls and coils. It will be your job to work with our Digital Marketing & Sales Manager and our Branding Lead to ensure visitors to our website can easily find the products and information they need.
If you have hands-on frontend or full stack development experience and an interest in business, data, analytics and conversion rate optimisation, then this is the perfect opportunity for you to make that next step in your career.
Your role will be varied. You'll keep our Shopify CMS up and running and add features to deliver an excellent customer experience. You'll improve our hair quiz as needed, and work closely with the rest of our team to maintain our top ranked website. You’ll test every assumption we make about our website to make sure it's as fast, functional and fantastic as it can be. Using polls, heat maps & A/B tests, you'll work with our team to recommend and implement changes and test them once live to ensure customer needs are met. At times you’ll represent Afrocenchix on tech panels and at startup events. No two days are the same.
If you’re curious, caring and a fast learner, you’ll thrive in our team.
Benefits of working with Afrocenchix:
- Fast growing company
- Employee equity scheme
- Free hair products
- Friends and family discount
- Flexible working (our normal working hours are 10 to 6 but we trust you to manage your time if something different works for you)
- Pension scheme
